This ongoing project aims to restore Guru Road (aka Dooby Lane) to more closely resemble the original installation. Although a perfect restoration is impossible, and the aging of the road is part of the experience, vandalism and other destructive forces call for action to preserve this important, unique artistic expression. Stewards will be working with volunteers through 2026 and beyond to repair major and minor installations, add interpretive signs, and create modern media to better inform visitors about Guru Road.
