Guru Road Restoration Project, 8 am, Sunday, October 20, 2024

Come join Stewards of the Black Rock Desert, Friends of Black Rock / High Rock, and other interested people as we launch a long-term project to restore and maintain Guru Road, aka Dooby Lane. We will meet at Ground Zero (mile marker 2, Rte. 34, north of Gerlach). The focus of this initial effort will be to restore this installation to its original condition from recent vandalism. We will also address the collapse of the Big Medicine teepee and other installations along the Road. Over time, we hope to restore as much of the road to its original condition as we can.
